Write the selected keywords into the headline, teaser and the bio box of the SEO plus of course into the body copy so that the keyword density will be around 6 % of all the total words of your SEO . You can also use H1 and H2 tags ( sub-headlines ) and write your most important keyword into the H1 tag and the second most important into H2 tag.

You can also write your major keyword once in bold, italic and underlined font. These are the candies for the search engines. If you use weaker keywords, cast them here and there into the body copy.

Because keywords of your home internet business ideas SEO are normally keyphrases, one working strategy is to build a major keyphrases with 5 words of which you can build several supportive keyphrases and thus find more profitable markets, like: internet home income business opportunity, home income business opportunity, income business opportunity, business opportunity, internet home income business, etc.

Make a list of these keyphrases and use them each with the same density in your home internet business ideas SEO. Your article has now much better chances to rank high in several search results.

Dynamic Sites and URL's

As websites have grown larger and more complex, companies have begun using dynamic publishing systems to help them manage sites that contain hundreds or thousands of web pages. Popular programs by companies like Vignette, Microsoft, and Broadvision turn a website into a database driven application capable of publishing and managing large amounts of content. When websites use dynamic publishing, a web page isn't built until it is requested from a user, guaranteeing that the content is up to date.

When these content management programs deliver information back to a web browser the links they create often contain many of the snippets of code they are using to assemble a page on the fly. This might include characters such as "?, $, @, %, &".

When a search engine tries to read a dynamic link, it often stops when it encounters the characters that dynamic publishing systems use to deliver a page. This means that a search engine cannot easily crawl and index the website. This means that fewer pages of your website will be indexed by a search engine. This in turn means you will show up in fewer search results.

One thing that many people fail to realize is that search engines create multiple entry points into your website. While your home page may be the one that people find most often, websites that have lots of pages indexed will begin driving traffic to pages located deeper within the website.

hese interior pages often draw much more qualified users because they are looking for information specific to a certain topic. Because they are looking for very specific information, they are also more likely to convert on a sale or action that you have prepared for them.

If dynamic publishing is keeping your content from showing up in the search engine database, these more qualified visitors often won't find your website. It's very important that as much of your website is visible to the search engines as possible if you hope to drive traffic from search engine marketing. Good link architucture can solve this problem in many cases.

Paid inclusion programs like Inktomi Search Submit or Index Connect guarantee that the pages you want search engines to index are included in their database. This means they don't have to crawl your site and guess at what information is beneath the surface.

Instead, you are telling them the pages you want them to include and re-crawl on a regular basis. This even includes dynamic pages because you provide Inktomi with a list dynamically generated URL's which it then knows will contain content and information specific to your website.

Measuring Link Popularity

he best way to discover how people are finding your web site is to analyze your site's activity logs, a topic which is covered in depth on the page available to

Those unable to analyze their logs can use search engines to track down referral links. In particular, this method gives you an idea of how "popular" a search engine believes your site to be. That's important because all major search engines consider a site's link popularity in their ranking algorithm.

The information below describes how link popularity is measured at popular crawler-based search engines.

Be aware that "popularity" is only one part of the link analysis systems that search engines such as Google use to rank web pages. The quality and context of links is also taken into account, rather than sheer numbers.

What is a Keyword Market

In short, a Keyword Market is the total number of unique searches on the Internet that are relevant to your website. A Keyword Market is defined by the top-level or root keyword that is generally most relevant to your business. If you own a shoe store, "shoes" might be the top-level keyword for your market. "Shoes" of course is very general since there are many kinds of shoes for men and women. Top-level keywords may contain thousands of vertical keyword markets. Initial analysis on "shoes" will produce hundreds of verticals (running shoes, nike shoes, bridal shoes, golf shoes, etc.)

Search Engine Optimization Content, Content, Content

If you are creating a website or working on a site you've already created, the content of the site is one of the most important factors for successful search engine marketing. The pages you create should provide valuable information that references very specific terms and concepts that are unique to your website.

Text is one part of the content that is important for being found in search engines. Search engines usually read and index the first 500 words from each page they successfully crawl. The text within that span of words is one factor that helps to determine your relevance for a particular search term.

If you are successful at weaving your keywords into compelling copy (remember humans are your primary reader) you are more likely to be relevant for keyword searches. Once your site has been up and running for three months, run a report on your log files to determine what keywords people are using to find your site.

You might be surprised if the most popular keywords that do find your site don't match up to keywords you already had in mind and were using. The web is a great educator about how to succeed. Your site might be very popular for search terms that you hadn't thought of when you built it.

You wouldn't have thought to include that specific phrase in your content because it doesn't read very well. But if all those words are located in a web page carefully constructed to highlight keywords that are known to produce traffic, the likelihood that you will appear in a search result for a very specific search improves.

You must be diligent in understanding how people are getting to your site and focus on providing quality content that is geared towards the audience that is trying to find you. Be as specific as you can. You'll improve the quality and quantity of visitors you get from search engines

It's also important to understand that you cannot trick the search engines. Flooding the engines with multiple versions of the same page, repeating the same term over and over - these tactics will only lead to negative traffic from search engines and the likelihood that your site could be banned from being listed in a search engine.

Titles and Meta Tags

In the early days of search engine optimization, marketers focused on meta-tags as the primary way to attract search engine traffic. Meta-tags are HTML tags that help describe the document they are located within. Today we know that search engines not only look at meta-tags, but a sites content, internal link structure and link popularity.

Meta-tags are still an important tool for successful search engine marketing. Search engines focus on three primary tags to help them determine the relevance of a website for a particular search phrase.

The Title Tag is one of the most important tags for a search engine. The Title Tag should describe exactly what the document contains. It should contain keywords, but not repeats, of terms you hope to be found for. It should also be as readable as possible. You must consider that the Title Tag will be the first thing someone sees if you appear in a search result.

The Title Tag should be no longer than 80 characters and should contain words and phrases that accurately describe the content of a page. Try to make the Title Tags located throughout your site unique and relevant. Every word in the Title should be contained somewhere in the page they are used for. Research has also shown that a call to action will usually produce more clicks than a basic description.

seo

SEO : Search Engine Optimization or Search Engine Optimizer - so basically is the process by which a web site is optimized for some keywords for search engines

The process of increasing the amount of visitors to a web site by ranking high in the search results of a search engine. The higher a web site ranks in the results of a search, the greater the chance that site will be visited by a user.

How to Increase Backlinks

What are backlinks
Backlinks are incoming links to a website or web page. Backlinks enable you to keep track of other pages on the web that link to your posts. The number of backlinks is an indication of the popularity or importance of that website or page. In basic link terminology, a backlink is any link received by a web node (web page, directory, website, or top level domain) from another web node (Björneborn and Ingwersen, 2004). Backlinks are also called incoming links, inbound links, inlinks, and inward links.

Increasing backlinks to your site is very easy, but something that typically is totally overlooked. So many bloggers worry about why their posts/articles don’t receive any comments… where in reality you should be only worried about commenting on other blog sites. Commenting is the key to increasing backlinks. For every comment you leave on another blog site, eventually this will count as a backlink. It does take time for Google to account for the link and attribute the backlink back to your site. It seems like once every four months is when Google updates their PageRank. But again, its just a matter of time before Google does find the pages you comment on.

Link Building

link building is one of most significant factor to increase your website-traffic, search engine rankings and enhance your Google Page Rank.

Generally, emphasize on on-site optimization will not add quality to your web pages. Search Engines equally prefer both On-site optimization and Off-site Optimization. Search Engines emphasize specifically on number of in-bound links, the quality of in-bound links and the ratio of in-bound links to that of out-bound links. We expertise in building thematic in-bound links for your website

What is the anchor text of each link to your site

The anchor text indicates the area of relevance the linking site places on your site. This anchor text should include your primary keywords. The text in the linking anchor text should not be the same in every site linking to your site. This is not seen as natural linking by the search engines. You need to get variability in the anchor text.

Search engine optimization

Search engine optimization is the process of studying the search engines in an effort to determine how to get your web site to rank high on user searches.

The major search engines display 2 types of results on the SERP (search engine results page) as a result of a user search query: paid advertisements and natural non-paid listings. Web sites can utilize one or both of these methods to acquire top listing positions. The paid advertisement exists on the results page due to an agreement by the advertiser to pay the search engine when a user clicks on their ad. The natural listing depends on the search engine optimization techniques employed on the web site. This article will focus only on the natural listing.

Each search engine has their own algorithm to determine which web sites meet their requirements and therefore obtain the higher SERP natural listing positions (or ranks) for a given keyword or keyword phrase in a user search query.

There are a large number of on-page optimization factors that are considered in the search engine evaluation process. These factors include but are not limited to: words in the web page url, title tag, meta tags, headlines, sub headlines, keyword density, words at the beginning of the page, page content, words that are bold, words in the links, site navigation, the structure of links and a number of other considerations. You want to make certain that you do not over optimize your web site and have the search engines consider your site spammy.

Longtailing

A definition of longtailing (a form of search engine optimization) and how it is used as an SEO strategy for enhancing product pages and catalogue pages.

longtailing is a form of search engine optimization that is also called catalogue SEO. The reason it earned this nickname is because of the long metatags that are attached to every image, product description and product number on a merchants website. There is also an emphasis on making sure that every photo has a keyword-optimized caption and properly structured labeling. The idea is that if each product is meticulously labeled and properly described it will appeal to the search engine spiders simply because the information is so targeted and accurate.

Seo Barriers

Avoid Frames

Sites utilizing frames typically separate the content of the page from the frameset, making it
virtually impossible for search engines to find, let alone index and produce, the content of the
framed pages in their results. If you have framed pages that you want to optimize for search
engines, your best bet is to convert them to standard non-framed pages so that search engines
can see what they have to offer for content display them properly.

Dynamic URLs

Dynamic URLs (e.g. containing “?” or “ID=”) have traditionally been difficult for many search
engines to crawl and index properly, although they are getting better at it. To play it safe,
monitor your dynamically generated pages to assess whether or not the major search engines
are finding them and, if necessary, create non-dynamic, search engine-friendly, versions of
those pages on your site (e.g. yourorganization.com/about/default.asp).

Images vs. Text

Web developers will often utilize images to display text for page headings and navigation
elements to enhance the design and/or control the layout of site pages, as opposed to utilizing
HTML “true text” (in general, if you can highlight the text with your mouse, you will know it is
true text). While there is nothing inherently wrong with this practice from a web development
standpoint, it is important to know that search engines are not able to view text that is
presented as images. Therefore, if words that you want search engines to find are embedded
in site graphics, you should consider transitioning those images to actual text. Minimally, you’ll
want to use ALT text to indicate the words that are displayed in site graphics not only so that
search engines can read them, but also as a usability enhancement for visitors who may not be
able to view the images.

Multimedia

Flash animation and video may look cool to site visitors, but search engines cannot read or
index the content embedded within multimedia objects. That is not to say that you shouldn’t
use multimedia where appropriate, but be aware that it is not search engine-friendly. Inserting
Flash components as individual page elements (amongst HTML) to achieve the effects you
seek is a much better option than building entire pages in Flash if you want search engines to

Seo Fundamentals

Make Use of Head Tags

Search engines tend to weigh words placed within page head tags (h1, h2, h3, etc.) more
heavily than they do general text. Whenever possible, include your target terms within the head
tags, especially the h1 tag at the top of your page, to ensure that your pages get maximum
search engine exposure. You can use a CSS stylesheet to format your head tags so they are
consistent with your site design.

The Page Title Tag

The title tag in the HTML head of your site pages is a critical, yet often overlooked, location to
insert your target terms. Search engines weigh the title of your pages quite heavily in
determining relevance, so you’ll want to make sure that each page on your site that you want
to show up in search engine results has a unique title incorporating the targeted term for that
page.

About Meta Tags

Once thought to be the gateway to top search engine rankings, meta tags are no longer
weighed very heavily by search engines, if at all. This is primarily due to the abuse of meta
tags by unethical marketers. However, this does not mean that you should ignore meta tags
altogether, just be aware that they are only a small part of the SEO puzzle.

The two tags you’ll want to pay attention to in optimizing your pages are the description meta
tag and the keywords meta tag. Keep your description tag succinct and to the point (under 200
characters) – some search engines, such as msn, will utilize this tag to display a description of
your page along with a link in their results, so it should provide a general overview of the page
topic. With keyword tags, limit your key words to 25 terms or less (separated by commas) and
make sure that you don’t repeat the same term more than 3-4 times, as doing so could be
misinterpreted as an attempt to deceive the search engines and get you banned altogether

SEO techniques to be avoided

Don’t stuff too many keywords into places where they don’t belong
Don’t optimize for search engines at the cost of human visitors; if someone told you adding a
dash to the domain name helps your rankings, but you feel that dash might confuse your customers, then don’t add it

Don’t trust people who promise you “instant #1 ranking”, “guaranteed top 10 positions” or anything of the sort

Don’t link to others from your site just because they promised a link back to you

Don’t link to others just because they paid you, unless you know exactly what you’re doing (i.e. you know about “bad neighborhoods” the “nofollow” attribute, PageRank, JavaScript-ads vs text links, what it means to get googleaxed and so on)

Don’t create multiple pages with exactly the same content

Don’t “litter” your URL on other people’s sites (and don’t let others people “litter” URLs on your site; if you have a web forum, keep it spam-free)

Don’t invest in a cheap server that won’t be able to cope with your traffic; don’t build your whole site on free website tools only – if you want to have a high-quality site & server, you need to pay for it

Don’t worry about a page’s meta descriptions, meta keywords and such; your time is better spent creating content

Don’t use tools that automatically submit your site’s URL to directories, search engines and such

Hi Friends, Here is my friend's website, who is a famous web designer in Hyderabad. Feel free to check his portfolio website.http://www.picturesque.in

Always use the ALT tag

The ALT tag, sometimes referred as the alternative tag, goes inside image codes to tell search engines what the image is about. An example of an ALT tag is:

Picture of the Moon

Many people forget to add the ALT tag to images, and some ignore it altogether. This is a mistake because the ALT tag is used by search engines not only to identify images but also for keyword density purposes.

The next time you place an image on your site do not forget to add the ALT tag with a couple of keywords pertinent to the image and to the content of the page.

Update: Equally important is the title tag inside the image code, some browsers (including some versions of Firefox) will not take into consideration the ALT tag, therefore having a title tag should make you more secure

What is SEO

SEO (or Search Engine Optimisation) involves optimizing your website so that it ranks highly in Search Engines.
Ranking highly in a Search Engine means your site is displayed in the top 10 or 20 sites which appear when a person does a relevant search.
For example, if I own a baking website, I want my site to appear on Page 1 of the Search Engine listings when someone seaches for relevant baking terms e.g. chocolate cake recipe.

Stay Away From Black Hat Tricks

If you are really interested in taking your website to better position in terms of ranking you better stay away from black hat SEO tricks. They will hinder your website’s success contrary to your interests. The term black hat tricks is used to refer to actions that are meant to cheat the search engines so as to get good ranking or to attract an user to your site by misleading a visitor.
There are hundreds of black hat tricks and you can see how creative people can get when it comes to deceiving and fooling the search engines. If only such creativity is shown in white hat SEO efforts you will certainly be able to get an excellent ranking for your website. One of the fortunate or unfortunate things about black hat tricks is that they don’t remain for a long period of time each trick has a short life span before they are reported.

There are some black hat tricks that are still used such as using the same text color as the background color. The user who visits the page will not be able read this portion of the text but that is not the case for search engine spiders. Often the black hat magicians add this text at the bottom of page hoping that the search engine spiders will be attracted to that text. If you come across a webpage next time with a huge empty space then you can suspect that something is fishy. Next time when you come across such pages with empty space at the bottom try to right click your mouse and drag the mouse till the end of the page as if you are selecting some text in the page, if there is any hidden text then you will be able to see it when you highlight that area by selecting the hidden text through your mouse.

Refrain from such tricks even though you may get good results out of it because it may not last for long before someone reports your website. If you have a heavy competition in the market then your competitors are keeping an eye on every move of yours and your successes they will look for things that they use against you and your success. Once they find that your site has used black hat tricks they have got a trump card to play against you.

There are many black hat tricks which I don’t want to discuss here because instead of learning a good lesson out of that they can get additional tips of black hat tricks that they can start using for their site in spite of the warning that is given. There are plenty of white hat tricks that you can use for your website and more and more innovative ways of optimizing your site for better results and better traffic are constantly emerging. Keep visiting this section regularly to find quality SEO tips and tricks that you can safely use to optimize your website.

RSS Feeds and SEO

RSS is a widely spoken concept today and it is used for a variety of reasons. However, its use in SEO is not clearly understood by many website owners and their lack of awareness does not make them appreciate this wonder tool. So let us take quick look at RSS Feeds and how they can be effectively used in SEO.

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. RSS feeds are used to keep track of your website’s updates, news items, blog updates that is happening you at your website or blog. RSS feeds compiles all the updates and presents it via RSS feed burner. By subscribing to your website’s or your blog’s RSS feeds those interested parties may easily follow all the updates without having to frequent your website or blog for the latest updates. RSS feeds of other websites are subscribed by website owners to provide relevant information to their website users in their own website so that the visitors will spend longer time in their website. RSS feeds have become one of the most powerful tool for sharing various types of content among websites. RSS feeds use XML format.
When people subscribe to your RSS feeds it serves as a back link to your website while the subscribed site delivers your website’s content to the rest of the world. This improves the quality of visitor traffic to your website; visitors who get to see your websites content via the RSS feed in another website visit your site. After all possible optimization the best you can achieve in the search results page of search engines is a maximum of two positions and this leaves the other positions open for your competitor. But with the use of RSS feeds you can cover more ground on the search results page. You can make your site dominate the search results page because by using RSS feeds you are making your site’s content available in a number of other websites and along with your own websites the other sites where your RSS feeds are run also get listed for a given keyword.

It has been noted that Yahoo seems to love RSS Feeds and by adding your RSS feed to one of the MyYahoo page you can make Yahoo index you fast. RSS Feeds are used by many business websites to increase their visitor traffic. Every site that subscribes to your RSS Feeds serves as an additional doorway for your website. Even if the visitor traffic trickle through those websites it is still an added advantage.

Add RSS to your site today and keep the content interesting and inviting so that others can subscribe to your RSS Feeds. Besides Search Engine Directories, there are also feed directories by getting listed in feed directories will be an added advantage to you. There are also feed search sites that supply fresh content to information hungry mass. All these make RSS Feeds a powerful tool for SEO. Though SEO was not the original intention of RSS Feeds, today it has become one of the mainstream benefits of RSS feeds.

Pay per click

Pay per click, or PPC, is an advertising technique used on websites, especially search engines. Pay per click advertisements are usually text ads placed near search results; when a site visitor clicks on the advertisement, the advertiser is charged a small amount. Variants include pay for placement and pay for ranking. Pay per click is also sometimes known as Cost Per Click or CPC. Pay per click advertising (PPC) is a search engine marketing technique that requires you to pay a fee every time someone clicks to your website from an ad you've placed in a search engine's results . The more you agree to pay per click (or bid) for a specific keyword and the more effective your ad, the higher your site will rank in the paid search results

With search engines, pay per click advertisements are usually text ads placed near search results; when a site visitor clicks on the advertisement, the advertiser is charged a small amount. Variants include pay for placement and pay for ranking. Pay per click is also sometimes known as Cost Per Click (CPC).While many companies exist in this space, Google Adwords and Yahoo! Search Marketing (formerly Overture) are the largest network operators as of 2006. MSN has started beta testing with their own PPC services MSN adCenter. Other networks include Findwhat, Shopping.com, NexTag, BizRate and PriceGrabber. Depending on the search engine, minimum prices per click start at US$0.01 (up to US$0.50). Very popular search terms can cost much more on popular engines. Abuse of the pay per click model can result in click fraud. Click fraud is usually not detected very well by smaller PPC engines

Perfect SEO

There always seems to be confusion with regards to the perfect SEO recipe which can enable your websites to reach top search engine positions but as an SEO expert I would like to tell you that there is no perfect recipes for making your website stand out from others. SEO is all a matter of hit and trial and it’s only on the basis of continuous experimentation that we can achieve positive result.

I have just found out a perfect SEO recipe on basis of my continuous research and experimentation over the years which I would like to share with you all. It gave me positive results and I hope it earns you similar results too. Here they are:

Keyword Selection

This is the first and most important SEO strategy. Keywords are the starting and ending point for any website to succeed. Try searching some intelligent keywords i.e. keywords with high traffic and low competition. You could use some of the free keyword suggestion tools to get a fair bit of idea about what all keywords you could use for creating your website.

Website Design

The design of your website is pertinent with respect to your SEO game plan. Try and use a table less design as it will be easy for the spider to index it. Try and keep coding to the bare minimum by using CSS or your website might get heavy. Avoid flash as spiders of major engines cannot read JavaScript.

Meta Tags

Meta tags are again an important SEO strategy from the viewpoint of search engines and your visitors. Meta tags are HTML elements which are used for offering structured metadata about a webpage. Meta tags enable search engines to know what your website is all about and enable them to rank it as per their importance. Meta title and Meta description still hold importance but Meta keywords seem to have lost importance among search engines due to spamming. Just don’t over stuff your Meta tags as they could attract penalty from search engines. Keep within limits and your Meta tags would not only help your website to rank well but even enable your visitors to get a fair amount of idea about what your website is all about.

Content

You must have heard in SEO that content is the king? Haven’t you? Always write original content with appropriate sprinkling of your keywords in between. Maintain a decent keyword density of 4-6% so that your website doesn’t get categorized under spamming. Content should be original, have appropriate keyword density and above all interesting which would enable your visitors to come back for more. One more thing don’t use copied content as programming software are pretty smart these days and duplicate content would get caught within a split second and get penalized too therefore act straight or get ready to face the consequences.

Link Building

Getting high quality backlinks is of utmost importance and if you can get the same then your website will surely climb up the charts of search engine. Getting quality links from website of repute with good page rank and age will fetch you better rankings. Also try using anchor text as much as possible as this will ensure that you rank better in the search engine within a short period of time.
Start off with these SEO ingredients and your final recipe will turn out to be near perfect.

pixel

The term "pixel" is actually short for "Picture Element." These small little dots are what make up the images on computer displays, whether they are flat-screen (LCD) or tube (CRT) monitors. The screen is divided up into a matrix of thousands or even millions of pixels. Typically, you cannot see the individual pixels, because they are so small. This is a good thing, because most people prefer to look at smooth, clear images rather than blocky, "pixelated" ones. However, if you set your monitor to a low resolution, such as 640x480 and look closely at your screen, you will may be able to see the individual pixels. As you may have guessed, a resolution of 640x480 is comprised of a matrix of 640 by 480 pixels, or 307,200 in all. That's a lot of little dots. Each pixel can only be one color at a time. However, since they are so small, pixels often blend together to form various shades and blends of colors. The number of colors each pixel can be is determined by the number of bits used to represent it. For example, 8-bit color allows for 2 to the 8th, or 256 colors to be displayed. At this color depth, you may be able to see "graininess," or spotted colors when one color blends to another. However, at 16, 24, and 32-bit color depths, the color blending is smooth and, unless you have some kind of extra-sensory vision capability, you should not see any graininess

Online Branding

The purpose of internet advertising is far deeper than just generating traffic to your web site; it is an important part of building your brand. Your main branding goal is to get your name, company or service on the tip of everyone's tongue. How do you do this? By effectively using your logo, signature, web site, newsletter, blog, press releases and social networking software, you present a strong, well-executed persona. Branding is considered one of the most important, though difficult, marketing objectives because it is often the tie-breaker for an unsure consumer. Every object, document or advertisement you display should help consumers associate your name with quality. If you demonstrate a clear, convincing brand image they are more likely to remember you and do business with you in the future.

Pay Per Click (PPC) Methodology

Pay per click (PPC) advertising allows you to pay to have your ad listed on the major search engines. They are the sponsored links you might see when you perform a search in a search engine. They usually appear at the top, bottom or right side of the search engine results page (SERP) and are identified as Paid Listings, Sponsored Links, Sponsored Listings, or Featured Listings. Pay per click (PPC) search engines call for you to pay to have your advertisement listed on the major search engines by allowing you to bid on keywords that are related to your business.
The rank or relative positioning of PPC campaign ads are based on an open bidding system. In this system, advertisers bid to have their advertisement listed. The bid amount is paid by the advertiser when a visitor clicks on the ad; hence, this is also known as a "cost per click" programme. These terms are sometimes used interchangeably to describe Pay Per Click web advertising even though PPC refers to a payment method and CPC refers to the cost involved in each payment. Theoretically, whoever bids highest gets the highest listed position, although some search engines, such as Google, have made it a little harder by using a
formula that bases position on more factors than just your bid. And as more of your competition enters into this developing market, the competition will only become more fierce. Optimising your PPC campaign will keep you one step ahead of the pack.
